Come and walk the woodland trails with me. Listen to the song of the meadowlark. Smell the sweet scent of clover. Watch as the first faint rays of morning sun touch dew-diamonds glistening on delicate spider webs. Pluck a stalk of wire grass and taste its bitter-sweet nectar. Shelter from the shimmering heat waves beneath a moss-draped cypress tree. And later, as the western sky shades slowly from coral and magenta to sooty black, feel the dampness of the fog-wheels rolling past lightning bugs and swooping bats. Walk with me though the woodland trails.

But be forewarned. For here there be monsters.

Welcome to the world of Dicksie Dudeney.
